Profile
• Dr. Sun Eae Chun is a professor and dean of the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) at Chung-Ang University. She is a former visiting scholar on a Fulbright scholarship at the Columbia University and a visiting professor at the University of Nebraska, USA. Her specialties are International Economics, Macroeconomics, and Financial Economics. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Korea University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Ohio State University, USA.

• Taehyun Kim is professor of international relations at the Graduate School of International Studies, Chung-Ang University (GSIS-CAU), Seoul, Korea. A graduate of Seoul National University’s Department of International Relations (BA in 1981; MA in 1983), Professor Kim received his Ph.D. in political science from the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA in 1991. Before joining GSIS-CAU in 1998, he was a visiting professor to University of Florida (1989-90), University of Illinois (1990-91), and senior research fellow and director of foreign policy and national security studies at the Sejong Institute, Seongnam, Gyeonggido, Korea (1992-98). Also after joining CAU he was a visiting professor to the Ohio State University (2006), Georgia Institute of Technology (2007-11), Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan (2014) and University of Yangon, Myanmar (2013-present). He has written and published extensively on the subjects of international relations theories, security and foreign policy on the Korean Peninsula, and translated a number of book in English into Korean. He has also been active as a columnist to various newspapers including Dong-A Ilbo, and advised the Korean government in a variety of capacities including a member to the Advisory Council to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Profile
• Professor Suh is a guest professor at the Graduate School of International Studies at Chung Ang University (CAU) in Seoul, South Korea. Currently she is actively involved in the Sanction and Deliberate Committee of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS), Korea. Shortly after acquiring her Ph.D. degree in finance she moved to the academic and professional training environments for sharing her long years financial markets experiences. She started her financial market career at the Kia Motors Europe Holding where she was responsible for financing Kia Motor’s European subsidiaries in Germany, Poland, Slovakia. Because of the difficult period to Kia Motors Co. caused by the Asian crisis (IMF), she moved to the German Federal Stock Exchange for getting experiences and practical knowledge directly in the center of the capital markets. On the market she could meet and collect skills and knowledge of advanced financial markets. On top of that she could extend her knowledge, such as financial risk management, compliance issues, financial criminalities etc with the Commerzbank, and the Standard Chartered Bank Korea after return to Korea. At the bank she played internal audit function, particularly by covering the banks’ wholesale business including derivatives products. Now she is mainly concentrating to teach and educate university students and employees at financial markets in Korea.

• Professor Kang is a guest professor at the Graduate School of International Studies at Chung Ang University (CAU) in Seoul, South Korea.
Currently he is actively conducting the research about economy of South Korea-China and North Korea-China.
Shortly after acquiring his Ph.D. degree in economics, he moved to the academic and professional training environments for sharing his long years economic experiences. He started his economic career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea where he was responsible for Economic Research.
Additionally, He monitored sanctions against North Korea and in charge of identifying the current status of border areas such as Dandong, Ji'an, and Hunchun.
He also worked as a professor of the Department of International Politics and Economics, School of Northeast Asia studies at Shandong University.
Professor Kang gave theoretical lectures on microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international economics for Chinese students working at Shandong University.

Profile
• You-Kyung Byun is a research assistant professor at the DAAD Center for German- and European Studies, Chung-Ang University. She earned her Ph.D. in social and cultural anthropology at the Free University of Berlin with a particular focus on the gift money exchange in South Korea, called "pujogum". Her research interests also include topics such as economic communities and Korean immigrants in Germany.

• Dr. JB Shin (shinida@cau.ac.kr) is a Deputy Director in the Center for the Study of Grand Strategy and a director of International Office at Chung Ang University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. • Dr. Sieun Kim is a guest professor at the Graduate School of International Studies at Chung Ang University. Kim is a CEO of ASEAN LAB, which provides consulting and researching on AEAN and International Development issues as well as Monitoring & Evaluation of International Development Projects. Kim worked as a programme manager at the ASEAN Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Korea (2013-2019). Kim received a Ph.D. in International Studies from Korea University with the ‘Possibilities of the ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Fund (AKCF) from a Multilateral Bilateral Perspective.’
