국제대학원, 쿠팡 통·번역사 채용 설명회 개최

GSIS Hosts Coupang Translator & Interpreter Recruitment Session

The Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) hosted the Coupang Translator & Interpreter Recruitment Session on Wednesday, November 12 at 5 p.m. in Room 703 of Building 301. The session was led by HR representatives from Coupang’s Translation & Interpretation Team and drew strong interest from first- and second-year students in the AITP program. The event offered an overview of Coupang’s organizational structure, work processes, and recruitment procedures.

국제대학원은 11월 12일(수) 오후 5시 301관 703호에서 ‘쿠팡 통·번역사 채용 설명회’를 개최했다. 이번 설명회는 쿠팡 통·번역팀 인사담당자들이 진행을 맡았으며, 전문통번역학과 1·2학년 재학생들이 참석해 높은 관심을 보였다. 행사에서는 쿠팡의 조직 구성, 업무 방식, 채용 절차 등이 소개되었다.

The session covered the following topics: Company Overview; Translation & Interpretation Team Structure; Hiring Process and Prep Guide; Resume Writing Tips; 2026 Entry-Level Recruitment Timeline; and Q&A. The speakers explained that Coupang’s interpreting work is primarily simultaneous interpreting and highlighted the company’s structured onboarding program for newcomers. They also emphasized key competencies such as accuracy, fluency, pacing control, and a solid understanding of the e-commerce sector.

설명회는 ▲회사 소개 ▲통·번역 조직 안내 ▲채용 프로세스 및 Prep Guide ▲이력서 작성 팁 ▲2026년 신입 공채 일정 ▲질의응답 순으로 진행되었다. 연사들은 쿠팡의 통역 업무가 동시통역 중심으로 이루어지며, 신입 구성원을 위한 체계적인 온보딩 프로그램이 운영되고 있다고 설명했다. 아울러 정확성·유창성·속도 조절 능력과 이커머스 산업 이해도를 핵심 역량으로 강조했다.

The 2026 entry-level recruitment timeline and preparation strategies were then introduced. The speakers advised applicants to demonstrate job relevance and concrete professional experience clearly in both their resumes and interviews. During the final Q&A session, students asked practical questions regarding workload distribution, work arrangements, and interview preparation. The speakers concluded the session saying they looked forward to the interest and applications from GSIS AITP students. Overall, the session provided students with useful insights into corporate translation and interpreting practices and valuable guidance for their future career planning.

이어 2026년 신입 공채 일정과 준비 전략이 안내되었으며, 이력서와 인터뷰에서는 직무 연관성과 구체적 경험을 명확히 드러낼 것을 조언했다. 마지막 질의응답에서는 업무 비중, 근무 형태, 면접 준비 등 실질적인 질문이 이어졌으며, 연사들은 “국제대학원 전문통번역학과 학생들의 많은 관심과 지원을 기대한다”며 설명회를 마무리했다. 이번 설명회는 학생들이 기업 통·번역 실무를 이해하고 진로 준비에 필요한 정보를 얻는 뜻깊은 시간이었다.
