 Scholarships

Scholarships are only given to those students who register in the full time degree program and take more than 9 credits each semester. Each semester, GSIS students who receive benefits are selected by the scholarship committee. |

GSIS's scholarship award program is designed to facilitate the financing of the MA program and to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement.
Freshman who can demonstrate exceptional academic excellence may receive the scholarship according to the GSIS scholarship policy.(maximum scholarship covers full tuition excluding the entrance fee)
After the first semester, scholarship policies are the same for all students, local or foreign. Students are given scholarships based on their academic achievement.

A. Facility Assistants
Students who help professors and students with GSIS facilities(lecture room equipments) are given a certain scholarship every semester.
B. Translation Assistants
Students working for the administration office with translation are given a certain scholarship every semester.
Any student who wants work support can apply before the semester beginning or when notice appears on the web site. |

Tuition fee |
As of Spring 2018, for one semester tuition at the GSIS is 6,981,000 won (for Korean students), 7,583,000won (for non-Korean students). First semester students must also pay an entrance fee of 980,000 won. Entrance fee is paid only once when they enter the university. This amount is subject to change, and may be increased each year. All accepted applicants will be notified of the tuition due date. |
